This course prepares students for leadership and management roles across micro- and macro-level contexts within various health systems. Students examine how organizational structures, healthcare delivery models, and social, economic, political, and ethical forces influence professional practice and service access. Emphasis is placed on developing leadership capacities in decision-making, collaboration, systems thinking, and professional responsibility. Students explore strategies to lead effectively within teams and organizations, influence policy, and advocate for individuals, groups, and populations across diverse practice settings.
